This second-grade workbook is really helpful for my kids aged 8. It has 320 pages full of fun and educational activities that cover a lot of subjects. The only thing is that some pages are a bit repetitive.

Helpful and Easy to Navigate

I have the PreK, Kinder, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade volumes of this book. I do see how they are all very similar but adds a little bit more information in each advancing grade level. I do think that a student needs to have a parent or other adult guide them through this because what is being asked isn't always understood by the student independently. I set my children up with the instructions per page and go through one as an example and it's easy to go from there independently. Overall, I am a huge fan of these as a guided simple curriculum as a teacher and a homeschooling mom.

Not challenging enough

So far these are very easy for my son. Maybe there’s some review of 1st grade and kindergarten integrated into the curriculum but I might have to skip to 3rd grade. The concepts are well taught and we love the bright colors.
